COURSE OBJECTIVE

To train officers and personnel to make them into potential local and state level Trainers in Civil Defence.


ENABLING OBJECTIVE

On completion of the training programme, the participants will be able to perform the following:

  • Use of Small gears for rescue.

The course is designed for Civil Defence Instructors (paid/part time), Platoon Commanders of Home Guards, Havaldar's and above from Paramilitary Forces, Havaldar's /JCO's from NCC, Members of voluntary NGO's and Teachers from School /Colleges.

COURSE OBJECTIVE

To train officers and personnel in handling and organizing of Communication systems for Civil Defence and Disaster services.


ENABLING OBJECTIVE

On completion of the training programme, the participants will be able to perform the following.

  • Organise training on Communication systems.
  • Plan and organize Control / Sub-control centers.
  • Operate wireless equipment.
  • Prepare Civil Defence messages.

COURSE CONTENT

  • Principles of CD communication planning
  • Operations of Air raid warning system.
  • Planning & Organizing of Control/Sub-control Centers.
  • Operations within Control / Sub-control Center.
  • Operating line communication equipment.
  • Principles of Radio communications.
  • Radio operating procedures.
  • Setting up static/ mobile radio station.
  • Understanding PBX operations.
  • HAM radio operators.
  • Communication security.
  • Principles of Report making.
  • Use of Computers in communication.

COURSE OBJECTIVE

To train Trainers and volunteers of State/ Organisations in order to make them effective members of Casualty service organized for the management of Medical Emergencies during Disasters and War

ENABLING OBJECTIVE

On completion of the training the participants will be able to perform the following:

  • Understand the basic Human Body System.
  • Organize Basic Life Support (BLS) teams during disasters
  • Organize BLS training for responders

COURSE CONTENT

  • Organisation of Medical and Health Services.
  • Basic Human systems.
  • Control of Bleeding injuries.
  • Handling wound and burn injuries.
  • Trauma management.
  • Stabilization of fractures.
  • Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
